To Take Effect From 1st Jan 2011

HOW TO CHANGE THE VAT RATE ON A CASH REGISTER

SHARP Models :- XE-A 203, XE-A 301, XE-A 303.

1. Clear totals take Daily report eg Z1

2. Turn key to PGM setting

The following code changes the tax rate

Enter the following and press buttons (....)

Press(#/TM/ST)

Enter 9

Press (X)

Select Vat No 1,2,3,or 4

Press (X)

Enter these figures 1020.0000

Press (X)

Press (#/TM/ST)

Press (TL/NS)

Return key to Reg Position

2. Turn key to PGM setting

The following code changes the tax rate

Enter the following and press buttons (....)

Enter Code 2711

Press (.)

Press (X)

Press (X)

Enter these figures 20.00

Press (TL)

Return key to Reg Position

Press( Down)  Arrow  Display reads Settings

Press (ENTER)

Press (Down) Arrow until Display reads 14    Tax

Press (ENTER)

Display reads   Tax1

Press (ENTER)

Press (Down) Arrow until Display reads     Tax Rate

Enter these figures 20.0000

Press (ENTER)

Press ( CANCEL) button  Three times   until Display reads   SETTINGS

Return key to Reg Position

The following code changes the tax rate

Enter the following and press buttons (....)

Press (MODE) Button

Select PGM2 mode by touching the screen or scroll down and press

(ENTER) key

Touch (SETTING) Button

Scroll down to (TAX)   (No 15 on the list)

Touch the TAX1,2,or 3 option (Usually TAX 1)

Touch the line with the Tax rate and key in new value 20.0000

Press (ENTER Button

Press (CANCEL) button 3 times to return to the sales screen.
